About

Our Story

WisdoMania Foundation was founded in 2021 by X. ARI, a queer artist, singer-songwriter, mental health advocate, and public speaker. It all began when X. ARI decided she wanted to do something special for Mental Health Month (May) in 2021 to support everyone who needed community and self-care during Covid. She reached out to her network of light workers, healers, creatives, and mental health organizations to put on “Mental Health Month with X. ARI”. It was 30 days of free workshops on Zoom spanning from storytelling to art therapy, mindfulness, emotional freedom technique, live music, and more! The response to her initiative was overwhelmingly positive so X. ARI was motivated to continue making an impact through this medium. X. ARI started game planning for WisdoMania Fest, an immersive mental health & arts festival, that summer and threw their inaugural festival in May 2022, which also served as the launch of non-profit WisdoMania Foundation.

X. ARI’s life purpose is to inspire hope in others by writing her story in her music, sharing her experiences publicly, and providing resources for recovery. She manages multiple mental health conditions including ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, Sleep Disorders, and Bipolar 1, which has led to episodes of Psychosis, Depression, Mania, PTSD, and hospitalizations. She doesn’t just survive, she thrives by turning Pain Into Power, and so can you!
